چکیده

The generative adversarial network (GAN) has recently emerged as a promising model. Its application in the image field been extensive, but there little research concerning point clouds. The combination of GAN and graph convolutional state-of-the-art method for generating clouds. However, is significant gap between generated cloud used training. In order to improve quality cloud, this study proposed multi-scale gradient (MSG-Point-GAN). training dynamic game process, we expected generation discrimination capabilities be symmetric, so that would more stable. Based on concept progressive growth, structure (MSG-GAN) stabilize process. discriminator part PointNet resolve problem disorder rotation cloud. could effectively determine authenticity This also analyzed optimization process objective function MSG-Point-GAN. experimental results showed MSG-Point-GAN was stable, superior other methods subjective vision. From perspective performance metrics, by real significantly smaller than methods. practical analysis, point-cloud classification improved about 0.2%, compared original network. provided stable framework generation. It can promote development point-cloud-generation technology.

Calculated properties of point defects in Be-doped GaN

The properties of several point defects in hexagonal gallium nitride that can compensate beryllium shallow acceptors (BeGa) are calculated using the AIMPRO method based on local density functional theory. BeGa itself is predicted to have local vibrational modes ~LVM’s! very similar to magnesium acceptors. The highest frequency is about 663 cm. Consistent with other recent studies, we find that ...

Statistical Approaches to Multi-scale Point Cloud Processingpdfauthor

In recent years, 3D geometry has gained increasing popularity as the new form of digital media content. Due to advances in sensor technology, it is now feasible to acquire highly detailed 3D scans of complex scenes to obtain millions of data points at high sampling rates over large spatial extents. This ability to acquire high-resolution depth information brings with it the possibility of using...

Point-to-Point Protocol for the transmission of multi-protocol datagrams over Point-to-Point links

Status of this Memo This RFC specifies an IAB standards track protocol for the Internet community. Please refer to the current edition of the "IAB Official Protocol Standards" for the standardization state and status of this protocol. Abstract The Point-to-Point Protocol (PPP) provides a method for transmitting datagrams over serial point-to-point links. PPP is composed of three parts: 1. A met...

Learning Efficient Point Cloud Generation for Dense 3D Object Reconstruction

Conventional methods of 3D object generative modeling learn volumetric predictions using deep networks with 3D convolutional operations, which are direct analogies to classical 2D ones. However, these methods are computationally wasteful in attempt to predict 3D shapes, where information is rich only on the surfaces. In this paper, we propose a novel 3D generative modeling framework to efficien...

Auto-Calibration for Screen Correction and Point Cloud Generation

Showing a checkerboard at different poses for camera projector calibration is impractical for large scale applications such as projection mapping onto buildings. We use an automatic calibration technique that projects Gray code structured light patterns, which, extracted by the camera, build a dense correspondence for calibration. Two applications benefit from automatic calibration: 3D model ge...
